Research Interests

  • Microbiological bioaccumulation of heavy metals/radionuclides for development of bioseparation and bioremediation processes for industrial effluents.
  • Bioleaching of precious/heavy metals from low grade ores.
  • Biosolubilization and bioliquefaction of fossil fuels, especially coal.
