NIBGE workshop renders technical services as per standard procedures in R&M, alteration and development services in the mainly five areas known as HVAC, Electrical, Electromechanical, Plumbing and Civil & Mechanical as per the indenter’s requirements and delivers quality services by using the standard items / practices to support the institutional scientific R&D activities. In addition to maintenance of a wide spread R & D institutional equipment, workshop also provides services to maintain the infrastructure of institute and residential areas in good working conditions. Also contributes significantly for necessary expansion of facilities as well as supporting systems to cover day by day increased demands.

General checkup, R/M of Diesel Generators Sets (03 Nos.), Gas generators (02 Nos.), Transformers (02 Nos.), HT/LT panels, Breakers, Power factor improvement devices, Grinding mills, Motors and starter switches of (Over head water turbine, Gardening pumps, Disposal Pumps), Autoclaves, Incubators, Water distillation units, centrifuge machines, laminar flows, Shakers, Fomenters, Ovens, Fume hoods, Light and temperature control of all type of growth rooms.

Job description:
General checkup, cleaning, repair and maintenance (Filters/Fans/Blowers/Motors) of main A/C plants, Split/window type A/Cs of institute & hostels, Cold cabinets, Refrigerators, Water dispensers and Freezers (-20°C, -40°C, -80°C) etc. Operation of all central AC plants to maintain working temperature.

Masonry repair work of all institute and residential areas to maintain infrastructure.
Termite proofing of all infrastructure/ buildings and furniture.
Repainting and Paint patch work of all infrastructures of institute / residential areas.

Job description:

Operation and maintenance of over head tank water turbine, Disposal pumps and WASA water pump Etc. R/M of Taps, Mixers of (Lab sinks, wash basins), Gas geysers, Flush tanks, Drainage system of roofs and small water pumps.
